CNC Turning & Precision Shafts at C&R Manufacturing

C & R Manufacturing specializes in CNC turning for prototype, short run, and production parts. Our manufacturing facility features CNC lathes with additional steady rests capable of producing ID and OD TIR’s within .0002. We can handle shafts ranging from 1/4″ to 12″ in diameter and up to 60″ long, equipped with live tooling.

To ensure conformability, robotic inspection measures multiple diameters to 10 millionths accuracy and communicates with the machine tool.

With bar feed, automatic gaging, and robotic part handling, shafts can be transformed from raw bar stock into finished pieces without human intervention. The system maintains a 0.0003″ deviation tolerance and separates out of tolerance parts in a separate container.
